About Us

WaylandWells.com grew out of our service on the Town of Wayland’s former Wellhead Protection Committee, which was dissolved by the Board of Public Works effective June 30, 2011. Our committee’s primary mission was successfully accomplished – the publication of Wayland’s first Wellhead Protection Plan, per the guidance and subsequent approval of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP). While our members no longer serve the town in that official capacity, as independent citizens we continue to focus on issues of water protection, safe water supply, and the need to implement the recommendations set forth in the Plan.  The group includes Sherre Greenbaum, Jennifer Riley, Tom Sciacca, Linda Segal and Kurt Tramposch.
